This abstact painting is textured with ripples that look like waves. White tippes on the textured waves gives the impression of white foam as they roll into shore.
Alcohol ink has been used to create a whispering effect that leads into a touch of gold at the shoreline.
I love creating these textured feels and adding the alcohol ink work gives the painting that extra detail, like light refraction in the ocean water. Some of the blues used are slightly aqua in colour, but it doesn't show up in the photo's.
I love experimenting with abstract and the ocean and hope you will love to hand and view them even more.
Some colours may vary from screen to screen.
