Influenced mainly by both the classical and impressionism. Her artworks are composed to capture a sense of harmony with texture, colours and attention to detail for an overall aesthetic for compositional harmony or to reflect naturalistic tendencies of beauty of asymmetry. Her esoteric interest in graphic novels such as Chris Ware also influence her artwork concepts.
Inspirations are often linked to the ideals of conservation and preservation of environment and wildlife. Natural history illustrators of Cayley, Durer and Gould are notable illustrative greats that she draws inspiration.
Michelangelo, Bruegel, Margaret Preston, Van Gogh , Pissarro and Hokusai are also some favourites.
Her artworks seek to explore and observe the interconnection of relationships that exists with nature, everyday living and the beauty of asymmetry and glorious imperfections in nature.
