Artwork Description

Along The Posts is an original Australian tree painting inspired by the quiet resilience found in the Australian landscape.

I’ve always been drawn to old fence posts. They quietly mark the passage of time, standing through drought, wind and storm without asking to be noticed. In this painting, a line of weathered posts leads the eye towards a solitary bare tree beneath a dramatic sky, creating a landscape that feels both familiar and timeless.

Rather than depicting a particular place, Along The Posts reflects the enduring character of the Australian countryside. The sweeping storm clouds, open hills and simple fence line speak of patience, endurance and the beauty that can be found in ordinary rural landscapes. It is a painting about the quiet strength of things that simply continue to stand, season after season.

Created in oil on canvas, this original Australian tree painting is professionally framed in natural oak, ready to hang and accompanied by a signed Certificate of Authenticity.

Artist Bio

Lucinda Leveille is an Australian landscape artist based in Queensland, known for atmospheric oil paintings that explore weather, stillness, distance and the emotional presence of place.

Working primarily in oils, Lucinda creates original landscape paintings shaped by memory, light and the quiet tension of changing skies. Her work often features clouds, trees, open land, distant roads and weather-filled horizons, sitting somewhere between realism and abstraction.

A graduate of the National Art School in Sydney, Lucinda has painted for many years and has exhibited widely, with work held in private collections across Australia and overseas. She has been recognised as one of Bluethumb’s Top 50 artists, placing her among the top-selling artists on the platform.

Her paintings are created as one-of-a-kind originals, with no prints or reproductions. Each work is developed slowly through layers of oil paint, colour, atmosphere and feeling, offering collectors a quiet place to arrive within the landscape.
