I love this vibrant colour scheme and how this mimics the rainbow gum trees.

"A woodland in full colour is awesome as a forest fire, in magnitude at least, but a single tree is like a dancing tongue of flame to warm the heart". Hal Borland.

Since  the culling of the trees outside my studio window except for the lonely gum tree, it is hard to imagine painting any other subject at the moment - but I'm reveling working in the beautiful rich and vibrant colours of Australia.

The piece will arrive cocooned in bubble wrap and packed within a sturdy cardboard container, sometimes recycled ( I do like to recycle when I can!).

Lucinda Leveille is an Australian landscape artist based in Queensland, known for atmospheric oil paintings that explore weather, stillness, distance and the emotional presence of place.
