Artwork Description

Stand Alone by Lucinda Leveille falls under the exploring the solitary theme.

It's very easy to stand with the crowd, but courage is required to stand alone.

This explanation about standing alone is wonderful, unfortunately I can't find the owner. "Standing alone is better than changing who you are so you can please others. Standing alone is better than lying to yourself just so you could fit in. Because loneliness will always be a constant in your life even if you're surrounded by people. You feel alone every time you're misunderstood".

If you love this piece but it doesn’t quite suit your space, I would be delighted to work with you to produce an artwork that will suit you and your home, I enjoy commissions and it’s always great to know that this is something uniquely yours. You can email me directly by clicking contact Lucinda and we can discuss.

The paintings are signed on the front with my name ‘Lucinda’ and come with a Certificate of Authenticity.  Please be assured that I only use quality products for my works.

The artworks on gallery style stretched canvas, do not require framing and the colour is continued round the sides, these are ready to hang, however, a box frame on this style of canvas can dress the painting beautifully.

The piece will arrive cocooned in bubble wrap and packed within a sturdy cardboard container, carefully protected for the journey.

Artist Bio

Lucinda Leveille is an Australian landscape artist based in Queensland, known for atmospheric oil paintings that explore weather, stillness, distance and the emotional presence of place.

Working primarily in oils, Lucinda creates original landscape paintings shaped by memory, light and the quiet tension of changing skies. Her work often features clouds, trees, open land, distant roads and weather-filled horizons, sitting somewhere between realism and abstraction.

A graduate of the National Art School in Sydney, Lucinda has painted for many years and has exhibited widely, with work held in private collections across Australia and overseas. She has been recognised as one of Bluethumb’s Top 50 artists, placing her among the top-selling artists on the platform.

Her paintings are created as one-of-a-kind originals, with no prints or reproductions. Each work is developed slowly through layers of oil paint, colour, atmosphere and feeling, offering collectors a quiet place to arrive within the landscape.
