Artwork Description

Sweet Morning Air by Lucinda Leveille is an original painting that draws its soul from the landscapes of Victoria — a land of rolling vineyards, mineral-rich springs, misted mountain ranges, windswept coastlines, and treasured national parks. Here, beauty is endless, and inspiration flows without pause; every vista offers a new story for the artist’s brush.

Framed in an elegant oak floating frame, the warm, honeyed tones of the timber embrace and enrich the painting’s vivid palette. The image wraps gracefully around the canvas edges, lending a sense of depth and continuity. The work bears Lucinda’s signature on the front and is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.

For collectors seeking something truly personal, Lucinda offers bespoke commissions — an intimate and collaborative journey in which your vision is woven into a one-of-a-kind piece. Each commission is shaped through direct conversation, ensuring that the final work is as unique as the space it inhabits.

Artist Bio

Lucinda Leveille is an Australian landscape artist based in Queensland, known for atmospheric oil paintings that explore weather, stillness, distance and the emotional presence of place.

Working primarily in oils, Lucinda creates original landscape paintings shaped by memory, light and the quiet tension of changing skies. Her work often features clouds, trees, open land, distant roads and weather-filled horizons, sitting somewhere between realism and abstraction.

A graduate of the National Art School in Sydney, Lucinda has painted for many years and has exhibited widely, with work held in private collections across Australia and overseas. She has been recognised as one of Bluethumb’s Top 50 artists, placing her among the top-selling artists on the platform.

Her paintings are created as one-of-a-kind originals, with no prints or reproductions. Each work is developed slowly through layers of oil paint, colour, atmosphere and feeling, offering collectors a quiet place to arrive within the landscape.
