I painted a sort of a trilogy about this boy (I have named Billy)at the beach. Here he is with his ball and fishing Rod. He is contemplating whether to go in and rescue his ball or should he leave it and go fishing. You will have to see at the next painting! The beach ball features in the other paintings as he grows up. He is enjoying the beach and grows up loving the seaside. This evokes memories of play at the beach when I was young.
Mum used to drive us to the beach in an old EH Holden wagon, 4 kids piled in the back with their beach towels and all excited to go to the surf! This painting would make a great talking point for your visitors.
