I painted a sort of a trilogy about this boy at the beach. Here he is with his mum at the beach with his bucket and beach ball. The beach all features in the other paintings as he grows up. He is enjoying the beach and grows up loving the seaside. This will evoke memories of play at the beach when I was young.
Mum used to drive us to the beach in an old EH Holden wagon, 4 kids piled in the back with their beach towels and all excited to go to the surf!
