Maria, born in a country town Ballarat (Australia) has reconnected with a long-time happiness of painting, which she links to her childhood days of painting and drawing. Having attended several art training sessions over the years has given her the encouragement and freedom to simply create from the heart as she doesn't believe there is any right or wrong in art, as each person will view art differently. Maria's canvases are a spontaneous expression of thought and feeling - the painting of a mood, the reaction to a moment in time. The subject of each piece is open to interpretation. Her paintings are bright and happy, this is achieved by combining contrasting colours from her colour palette based on the Feng Shui color principles which is now part of her abstract range. Maria's art is made up of applying several layers of spontaneous brush and palette knife strokes she has developed over the years in order to create the harmony, organic movement and depth that she yearns for in all her (nature driven) paintings .It is important that her paintings are beautiful and filled with positive energy and pleasing to the psyche for you to display her work in any location you choose. Maria's time is also devoted to her family , friends and of course creating beautiful art.Maria says she feels so grateful to be living on this beautiful planet and will continue to express her gratification through coloor and movement on a canvas.
