Painting in acrylic and oil on wood feaaturing a seagull flying over a lake, cool blues reflect in its white plumage. The background is abstracted and textural and there is a lot of movement and energy in the brushwork.

Sacred being is an oil painting featuring a tall gum tree standing isolated in a rural field. The composition has subtle lines running through it, which echo sacred geometry and remind the viewer of the interconnectedness of everything.

Inspired by my stay at a Tasmanian residency last year, this painting captures the scene from the studio. The sweeping skies, huge mountains and rugged land of rural Tasmania will forever be in my heart.
