Bluesman is a painting based on a blues guitarist I have seen perform a number of times at Australian blues festivals. I love blues music and admire the talent of musicians. I am captivated by the way they become immersed in the music whilst playing and love to be able to portray this. The rhythm of the music is suggested by the musician's flying hair.
