Indigo Lake is inspired by views of Lake Mulwala, New South Wales where partially submerged dead trees rise from the surface of the water. The painting utilises my minimalist style as well as a minimalist palette of blue tones. The shadows in the foreground emphasise the moodiness of the vista.
