I am quite fascinated by flowers and its ethereal beauty. Painting them allows me to observe them in an intimate way. In this instance I came across a beautiful hibiscus plant in the neighbourhood and I was drawn particularly to its cheery colour and the play of light & shadows dancing across this golden beauty. I can't help but smile when I look at this painting.
