Understory’ is created using acrylic by mostly painting the negative spaces to reveal the positive shapes. The beautiful forest is an inspiration. I wanted to focus on the understory that do not usually get the limelight unlike the tall trees. The floor dances in light rays shining through the canopy.
The painting draws the viewer in and is a perfect feature artwork.
