The series "Another Bend in the River," was one of my first series of paintings. We visited Wangaratta briefly yesterday and it was a calm, sunny Winters day. A brief walk along the river and the tranquility returned. So once again inspiration for painting. This is an impression of a bend in the River Ovens in Wangaratta as the chill is in the air and the gentle miss falling later in the day.
