The walks along the Melbourne Bayside clifftops produce some beautiful and unique views. This painting was inspired by a bright sunny view between the scrubby bushland down to a crystal sea with the bright colours of Red Bluff glimpsed around the bend. It was a bright early morning and the sun caught the tips of leaves and the bushland. This view is from the cliff along the walk towards Half moon Bay from Sandringham, where the beach appears quite close but is in fact still quite a climb.
