Artwork Description

An abstract expression oil painting.

"Fiero Blu" translated - is Italian for 'proud blue'.

This painting was painted using thick brush-strokes, dripping, splashing and moving the oil around the painting from all angles.

Different shades of blue have been used, with a small amount of purple, pink and a large splash of white to contrast with the black.

It is a vigorous painting that is interesting and full of texture and vibrancy. There are at least 10 layers of oil and so took a long time to dry...this painting will last a lifetime.

** It has a white, wooden box frame (no glass). The white frame is a good contrast to make the blues pop.

D-rings and professional hanging wire are used on the back (ready to hang).

The painting can be hung either way, ie landscape or vertical, however, it looks stunning hung in the vertical position.

A signed Certificate of Authenticity is included.
