Many Australians like myself, live by the water, which always inspires me... it's depths, but also of the sea, water, waves, beach and general movement of the ocean tides.
In Australia we like to think we have the best beaches in the world along with fresh rivers and waterfalls, this painting captures all of that.

There is such an incredible amount of texture in this painting which is designed to make you feel like the ocean spray is hitting your face or in the air.

This painting can be hung either horizontally, or vertically (as viewed in the picture), it looks fantastic either way, depending on your space.

It is a free flowing painting, full of texture and interest.

Mediums used are acrylic, inks, charcoal, graphite, spray paint and oil stick on stretched cotton hand-made professional canvas.

Colours used are black and white, grey, silver, teal, yellow, cream, pale blue, light blue, dark blue and turquoise.

The sides are painted white.

On the back are D-rings with professional hanging wire - ready to hang.

• Originally from Sydney, then Melbourne for many years and now resides on the Sunshine Coast Hinterland in Montville and has collectors worldwide.

• After more than 20 yrs as a successful Naturopath and writer of books and health columns, as well as a radio show, Marion decided to study art however, most of her style is self-taught and she has developed a unique contemporary style that is quite distinguishable. She likes to paint on large canvas and extra large canvases which showcases abstract art far greater.
