Artwork Description

The original interesting poured liquid art painting Hidden Treasures, is a unique one off and was made with Global Basic acrylics, Dimethicone and Floetrol Pouring Medium on Canvas Board.

This delicate painting started out as a simple flip cup pour in several shades of blue, green, yellow and red acrylic paint mixed to the right consistency to flow. A flip cup pour uses several layers of different colour acrylic paint layered in a plastic cup that is then flipped onto the canvas in one swift movement. The paint will be distributed by carefully moving the canvas. After the pour the painting has to be handled very carefully for 5-8 hours to ensure the no accident is destroying the design. After the paint had dried, which can take up to 48 hours, the sky of the landscape was added with negative painting method, leaving the trees exposed on top of the hill.
The painting is framed with a modern black timber frame 29cm wide by 39cm high. The artwork is framed by a white mat and protected by glass. 2 D-rings and hanging wire are attached to the back and it is ready to hang.
Your painting will be packed with extra care in a sturdy cardboard box and shipped out in 1-3 business days

The Artwork is signed on the Front when possible. A signed Certificate of Authenticity will be attached to the back of the painting.

About the Artist – Marta Blaszak

Marta Blaszak is a Brisbane-based visual artist with roots in Berlin, Germany. She holds a Bachelor of Interior Architecture from the University of the Arts Berlin. Since settling in Brisbane, Marta has continued to evolve her artistic practice, completing a Diploma in Visual Art at Bremer TAFE.

Deeply inspired by nature, Marta’s work reflects the beauty of the Australian landscape—particularly the flora and fauna surrounding her Forest Lake home, the marine life of Moreton Bay, and the vibrant energy of the Sunshine Coast. Her style blends realism with the expressive freedom of fluid acrylics and alcohol inks, offering a fresh perspective on the natural world.

Marta exhibits widely across South East Queensland and is a regular contributor to member exhibitions with the Logan Artists Association, Boonah Art Society, and Art West Community Gallery. She has held solo exhibitions at venues such as the Glenrock Gallery in Esk and participated in hospital art programs through the Royal Women’s and St Vincent’s Hospitals.

Alongside her studio work, Marta is passionate about community and education. She has taught acrylic painting to adults and children through the Inala Art Gallery and now runs her own art group from her Forest Lake studio, where she continues to inspire others through creativity.
