Artwork Description

Are you looking for something unique and original for your home? Something that is inspiring but not a mass-produced commercial replica. And is still affordable? Then you have come to the right place.

Most of my art is inspired by nature and the natural textures of pebbles have always fascinated me. I am forever trying to re-create them for my paintings. They are not only interesting for their shape, texture, and patterns, but also what they represent for me and many others. Always looking for the special and different pebble, I collected them from every corner of the world and created 'My Pebble Collection'. For interest I also added a small Lilliputian Lizard to 'My Pebble Collection' as these little creatures are commonly seen in Australia.

For this pebble painting I was experimenting with water colours on 300 gsm. Working on the texture and shape of these small rocks was almost like meditation for me. The painting is framed with a 43cm x 53cm modern black frame and is protected with 3mm Perspex and a white mat. Two d-rings are attached to the back and it is ready for hanging.

Paintings in this size are dynamic collectibles. Art lovers can build a collection of these medium sized pictures by theme, artist, medium or even a similar colour.

Please note that artwork displayed in rooms are for the purpose of demonstration only and not always to the exact scale. Please check dimensions for actual size.

A signed Certificate of Authenticity will be attached to the back of the painting. Your painting will be packed with extra care in a sturdy recycled cardboard box to reduce my carbon footprint and shipped out within 1-3 business days.
The Artwork is signed on the front.

About the Artist – Marta Blaszak

Marta Blaszak is a Brisbane-based visual artist with roots in Berlin, Germany. She holds a Bachelor of Interior Architecture from the University of the Arts Berlin. Since settling in Brisbane, Marta has continued to evolve her artistic practice, completing a Diploma in Visual Art at Bremer TAFE.

Deeply inspired by nature, Marta’s work reflects the beauty of the Australian landscape—particularly the flora and fauna surrounding her Forest Lake home, the marine life of Moreton Bay, and the vibrant energy of the Sunshine Coast. Her style blends realism with the expressive freedom of fluid acrylics and alcohol inks, offering a fresh perspective on the natural world.

Marta exhibits widely across South East Queensland and is a regular contributor to member exhibitions with the Logan Artists Association, Boonah Art Society, and Art West Community Gallery. She has held solo exhibitions at venues such as the Glenrock Gallery in Esk and participated in hospital art programs through the Royal Women’s and St Vincent’s Hospitals.

Alongside her studio work, Marta is passionate about community and education. She has taught acrylic painting to adults and children through the Inala Art Gallery and now runs her own art group from her Forest Lake studio, where she continues to inspire others through creativity.
