Artwork Description

I am always searching of ways to create natural textures and shapes that doesn’t look painted. Fluid acrylic gave me the answer to my search. Now I am experimenting to control the uncontrollable.
This unique and original painting ‘Open Sea’ started as a fluid pour using Global Acrylic Paint, Floetrol and Dimethicone on a 42cm x 28cm 300msg acrylic paper. The pour was manipulated by less cell creation for the open water and increased cell creation for the surf on the beach. The finished result of the soft sandy beach and vibrant and alluring blues for the water, topped with a little foamy waves for the surf, invites you to dip your toes into the water!!

This original small painting is affordable for art collectors to start their first art collection and it is great for gifting. This art style offers endless possibilities to create unique gallery displays and will brighten up your home or office for many years to come.

This painting is framed with a 50cm x 36cm golden wide frame and has no glass or mat but is varnished with protective Acrylic gloss for protection. 2 D-Rings and hanging wire are attached at the back.

Please note that artwork displayed in rooms are for the purpose of demonstration only and not always to the exact scale. Please check dimensions for actual size. Other frames shown in the display are a suggestion only.

PLEASE NOTE: Colours can differ from monitor screens, mobile devices and tablets.

A signed Certificate of Authenticity will be attached to the back of the painting. Your painting will be packed with extra care in a recycled sturdy cardboard box to reduce our carbon print and shipped out within 1-3 business days.

About the Artist – Marta Blaszak

Marta Blaszak is a Brisbane-based visual artist with roots in Berlin, Germany. She holds a Bachelor of Interior Architecture from the University of the Arts Berlin. Since settling in Brisbane, Marta has continued to evolve her artistic practice, completing a Diploma in Visual Art at Bremer TAFE.

Deeply inspired by nature, Marta’s work reflects the beauty of the Australian landscape—particularly the flora and fauna surrounding her Forest Lake home, the marine life of Moreton Bay, and the vibrant energy of the Sunshine Coast. Her style blends realism with the expressive freedom of fluid acrylics and alcohol inks, offering a fresh perspective on the natural world.

Marta exhibits widely across South East Queensland and is a regular contributor to member exhibitions with the Logan Artists Association, Boonah Art Society, and Art West Community Gallery. She has held solo exhibitions at venues such as the Glenrock Gallery in Esk and participated in hospital art programs through the Royal Women’s and St Vincent’s Hospitals.

Alongside her studio work, Marta is passionate about community and education. She has taught acrylic painting to adults and children through the Inala Art Gallery and now runs her own art group from her Forest Lake studio, where she continues to inspire others through creativity.
