Artwork Description

Upliftin by Marta Blaszak - This is the first time that I use an unusual shaped composite white board for a painting in Acrylic. I used an fluid acrylic background to embellished it with Butterflies of may colours and shapes that change with every slight movement of their colourful wings. Butterflies are known as a symbol for change, renewal and hope.

'Uplifting' is an Acrylic painting on a 24cm x 37cm white composite board. It is protected with two layers of gloss acrylic varnish. 2 D-rings and hanging wire are attached to the back and it is ready to hang.

Because of the size of the painting, it is categorised as “small format art”. These art works are considered dynamic collectibles, as an art lover can build a collection of small sized original paintings by theme, artist, medium or even just a similar colour.

PLEASE NOTE: Colours can differ from monitor screens, mobile devices, and tablets.
A signed Certificate of Authenticity will be attached to the back of the painting. Your painting will be packed with extra care, using a sturdy recycled cardboard box to reduce our carbon footprint, and will be shipped out within 1-3 business days.

About the Artist – Marta Blaszak

Marta Blaszak is a Brisbane-based visual artist with roots in Berlin, Germany. She holds a Bachelor of Interior Architecture from the University of the Arts Berlin. Since settling in Brisbane, Marta has continued to evolve her artistic practice, completing a Diploma in Visual Art at Bremer TAFE.

Deeply inspired by nature, Marta’s work reflects the beauty of the Australian landscape—particularly the flora and fauna surrounding her Forest Lake home, the marine life of Moreton Bay, and the vibrant energy of the Sunshine Coast. Her style blends realism with the expressive freedom of fluid acrylics and alcohol inks, offering a fresh perspective on the natural world.

Marta exhibits widely across South East Queensland and is a regular contributor to member exhibitions with the Logan Artists Association, Boonah Art Society, and Art West Community Gallery. She has held solo exhibitions at venues such as the Glenrock Gallery in Esk and participated in hospital art programs through the Royal Women’s and St Vincent’s Hospitals.

Alongside her studio work, Marta is passionate about community and education. She has taught acrylic painting to adults and children through the Inala Art Gallery and now runs her own art group from her Forest Lake studio, where she continues to inspire others through creativity.
