It was not my intention to paint waves in this painting, but the swipe needed something, so I pulled a rope chain through the wet paint. You'll probably notice in the back ground above the moon, the first set, then below the moon a second, and of course the main center wave breaking in 5 places. My son who is a surfer has first grabs, but he is hesitant (probably having so much of my work already & no where to put it). It is a nice small piece so will fit anywhere.
