This painting developed over time. I love a dark stormy sky and wanted to contrast that with a bright light foreground and Ive used plenty of texture to give a rough gritty feel to it. Its like that moment of stillness and sunshine right before the front moves in and the wind starts to blow. Even with a storm threatening, its calm and serene. The sides are painted, its varnished and ready to hang.
