After crossing the Schonnell bridge in St Lucia, I was suddenly in the grounds of Brisbane's famous University of Queensland. Students meet here before boarding a Citycat ferry or bus to take them home. The beautiful gardens and Jacaranda trees provide a peaceful respite after a day of lectures.
