Artwork Description

A curious skele-friend contemplates the abstract concepts of life, each circle representing an overlapping notion, an endless loop of hypotheticals. These small works are experiments in colour and impasto. ~~ Please note, this painting is one of a matching pair, if you feel inclined to adopt both please check out the other painting via my profile~~

This oil painting is completed on a 5 x 7 inch archival Ampersand 'claybord' wood panel and is housed in a bright apple green coloured frame to complement the painting. The painting is ready to hang with 2 d-rings and wire attached. The work is varnished.

Artist Bio

**Please note; I am currently closed for commissions, but may reopen after June 2027, Thank you**

Hello! My work is representational and can be symbolic, steeped in narrative, myth, prose or spirituality. The act of building an image is a kind of searching implement, resonating between the seen and the unseen, always with the aim to obtain a greater understanding of both.

To stir thought and question perceptions of reality, searching, comforting and healing from within.

I work in oil, graphite and charcoal and prefer to work in a layered, detailed manner.
A classical painting enthusiast, with strong influences from William-Adolphe Bouguereau, John William Waterhouse and Rembrandt van Rijn.

My work is held in collections in Australia and internationally. I am based in Regional NSW.

Feel free to contact me with any commission requests and I will work out a quote for you.
