Bowerbird of the Berkley.
After being up in one of the remotest parts of Australia where supplies come by plane or barge only, my faith in the world was regenerated by a simple bowerbirds nest. This nest was decorated using hundreds of seashells. The male picked up one shell at a time and carried it from the beach 5 kms away. The most amazing thing was, there were only shells. Not one piece of plastic or glass was evident. On the beach nearby, only washed up shells, leaves and sticks and the odd croc. It was wonderful to see just the shells decorating his beautiful nest.
