After watching an Attenborough film about these abandoned predators which silently ensnare marine animals, I decided to paint this.
It’s such a global problem, and with the advent of synthetic nets, their insatiable hunger lasts for hundreds of years.
Maiming, drowning or simply starving our beautiful creatures of the sea as they float around in the oceans currents.........an invisible disaster.
