Artwork Description

Morning is always a special time, the start of a fresh new day. This is so invigorating and revitalising in a forest setting. The sun breaking through the trees and warming up the forest floor that is exposed. The dew on the foliage glistening as the new day unfolds. Nature is just awesome and it is a privilege to reproduce it to my canvas. This oil painting has been painted on stretched canvas and is set in a white wooden gallery style floating frame ready to hang.

Being a self taught artist from my teens, has enabled me to see my style and skill evolve over the years. I reside on the South East Coast of NSW, a stones throw from the beautiful Jervis Bay, where I get most of my inspiration. I am predominantly an ocean artist, but I'm only displaying some of my favourite landscapes here on Bluethumb
My mediums of choice are oil and acrylics on stretched canvas.
