I painted this piece to create a peaceful place to escape. The morning sunbeams finding their way through the gaps between the trees, almost forms a spotlight to draw your attention. You can almost hear the sweet morning calls of the birdlife as the forest floor comes to life.
This original acrylic artwork is set in a White Wooden gallery style floating frame and is ready to hang.

Being a self taught artist from my teens, has enabled me to see my style and skill evolve over the years. I reside on the South East Coast of NSW, a stones throw from the beautiful Jervis Bay, where I get most of my inspiration. I am predominantly an ocean artist, but I'm only displaying some of my favourite landscapes here on Bluethumb
My mediums of choice are oil and acrylics on stretched canvas.
