This artwork was created by using my own designed and handmade stencils using bold colourful brush strokes. Beginning with the sustainable surface that I paint on - this is recycled cotton, and I have made it into a wall hanging style that has an easy to hang system in place - invisible to the eye. Layers of the face emerge with each brush stroke with each reveal of lifting the stencil. Moving into free hand brush strokes for the hair and details stating the individuals personality.
