After the rains, a fast flowing creek runs through a forest of karris, gum trees and adjacent farmland. The location is the beautiful Harewood Forest near the south coast of Western Australia. I was inspired by the trees overhanging the water and the sense of peacefulness which was greatly enhanced by the sound of trickling water flowing over the rocks. A textured oil painting, spontaneously rendered, using a palette knife.

Artist quality oil paint on professional grade stretched canvas. The sides are 4cm thick and are painted consistent with the color scheme of the subject.
