Bamboo has long been considered to have miraculous properties. Many attest to the spiritual healing properties and negative energy clearing bolstering self-wroth and self-esteem. It is a symbol of longevity and represents strength, flexibility and resilience. It survives the harshest conditions and readily adapts to its environment.

To me Bamboo represents our resilience to environments that are rapidly changing. It is said that to dream of bamboo represents amazing inter-strengthening benefits, growth and problem solving. So wow, why not have a painting of this most respected plant!

I was inspired to paint this whilst wondering among tall majestic bamboo trees, swaying this way and that in the gently breeze - my interpretation is more an impression of 'dream' like vision rather than realism.
