The term 'Blue Moon', is an additional full moon in a lunar period. However for me the name just seemed to fit.
Inspired by night passages at sea under a moonlit sky. Here my work concentrates on the play of light on textures of, impasto, brush and knife work to separate breaking seas, wind engulfed sails and polished hulls of the yachts .
