Geometric Abstraction | Painted freehand
Min Ray sees the world in vivid colour and shapes.
From her home studio, she has been painting in the hard-edged geometric abstract style since 2020.
Min has developed a range of techniques and skills enabling her to create all her work entirely using a free hand painting process.
Minโs paintings represent emotive states, memories, family and her response to the natural world. Using a dazzling and considered colour palette, her works invite the viewer to engage their imaginative subconscious to interpret the tension and relationships in her work.
Light is fascinating and mysterious.
Light, or Visible Light, commonly refers to electromagnetic radiation that can be detected by the human eye.
But what is light? Where does it come from? What is it made of? How does it make colour work? What is the purpose of light? Are we lights?
With that curiosity Min has started a new project โ โIn Search of Lightโ.
