Artwork Description

"Swirling Flows in Blues and White" is a limited palette artwork which through the art of movements of the fluid acrylics created various hues of lilac and silver. The simplicity of this serene blue and white colour art reminds me of lovely sunny days spent at the beach, with the azure blues of the water and the sea spray dancing in sunlight.
A limited palette of various blues and light lilac as well as silver and lots of white was used. I left a fair amount of white to correspond with the feeling of being isolated.
Original painting created in April 2020. Signed on the front. Ready to hang.
Artist quality Acrylics in fluid form on gallery wrapped stretched canvas.
Styled scene, hanging and in situ setting is for display purposes only and is not to scale. Just to give you an idea of how this swirling blue and white artwork may look on your wall.
Finished with Satin Spray varnish for protection.
Signed Certificate of Authenticity is included.

Artist Bio

Monika Scheffler is a Sydney based visual artist who specialises in acrylic and watercolour paintings. She was hooked for life in 2012, when she started participating in various courses to this day, either online, in classrooms and workshops.
Monika draws inspiration from nature and captures its beauty in her realistic to impressionistic style. Her artworks can feature delicate details, expressive brushstrokes and vibrant colours. Her goal is to bring joy and peace to the viewer through her natural landscapes and floral art.
Monika has exhibited her paintings in several group art shows, online platforms as well as a gallery in collaboration with another artist and has won several awards along the way, receiving positive feedback from critics and collectors alike. Some of her notable works include “Blue Mountains – Three Sisters”, “Govetts Leap Blue Mountains”, “Flower Power”, “Manly Ferry Ride at Sunset” and “Autumn Sunshine”.
For this year, in response to the world around us, Monika has set her sights to creating more impressionistic floral artworks, incorporating her love of colours as well as honing her skills with soft pastels after having participated in a workshop in recent times amidst finalising projects she began last year.
