Lily Pond is a a large colourful abstract painting. Using mainly shades of blue and green I wanted to create the calming sensation of looking in to a body of water. I wanted to give the impression of darkness and light, little ripples in the water and darker green where pieces of vegetation might be. Lily Pond is a relaxing artwork that brings with it a sense of calm. It comes with a light coat of varnish to protect the painting. Comes without a frame with the sides painted on stretched canvas but can also be professionally framed (as shown on some of the images) at an additional cost. This painting is currently on exhibit in a corporate space.
