A symbol of strength, beauty and refinement, my work has strongly focused on orchids. I have been attempting to capture their nuanced shape and translucent petals, while also giving an ethereal quality to the works. With this particular work, I was inspired by the scene in Alice in Wonderland where Alice talks to the flowers.
