PINK is a combination of the color red and white, a hue that can be described as a tint. Pink speaks of sweetness, femininity, romance, innocence and playfulness. It symbolises youth, good health, and the flush of first love. Pink is passionate, sensual and loving. It radiates warmth, joy and a love for life.
I think of Degas, Gauguin and Matisse who were inspired by pink.
In this series I’m just focussing on a particular colour with white flowers as its muse. I think a white floating frame would enhance each (lightweight) painting superbly and would look stunning as a set lined up on the wall.
