Twice a year I participate in the "Strada Easel Challenge" where artists around the world spend the month painting only from life (no photographs). I've been painting in this challenge since 2017 and have found it to be a great work out for my painting practice and a great way to start the year.

This piece was completed on Day 7, I set up a still life in my studio with these beautiful bush roses that are growing in my garden. This white jug is one of my favourite things to paint. I must have painted it a hundred times at least!
