Sometimes an unexpected little moment demands to become a painting. While the boys were swimming they decided to teach each other how to dive. Suddenly, with their arms in the air, they prepared to take the big leap.

I use an impasto technique that is a direct application of professional quality oil paints onto a wooden panel with a kiln dried heavy duty solid pine frame. The painting has a thin layer of satin varnish to even out the surface sheen and to protect the oil paint.
