Bringing out the natural light and patterns that draw me to a scene. So much our eyes see and senses absorb but only 'aspects' of what we see create the impact. With this acrylic I concentrated on the beautifual calm colours but also the impact of the patterns in the scene. Driving towards a holiday brings a sense of happy calm but also a sense of excitement and anticipation of the things we will see and do. My aim was to capture these feelings within the painting.
