I have been drawing and painting all my life. My formal training was the Adelaide School of Art for 1 year, then by correspondence with the American School of Art, and have studied through many tutorials and art books. I have travelled extensively throughout my life and visited galleries world wide, learning constantly.
I took up painting full time after a move to Greece in 1991, where I painted portraits, murals and artwork for signage. My first exhibition was on my return to Australian with my Greek Living works in 1995.
My years of living in Asia, ( 8 ) have also influenced much of my work as I love to work with colour and as I feel a connection to the world of Asia and its' people.
I paint in oils, acrylics, on canvas and draw with charcoal and pastel. I also do commissioned work.
I tutor art privately and been tutor twice at Kenilworth Art Celebration as well as other Sunshine Coast Art groups.
I have had three published demonstration and art insight editorials; two in The Australian Artist Magazine 2014 and 2015 and one in Artist's Palette 2015.
