yupo paper mounted onto cradles wood panel

Original abstract artwork inspired by the fall season and my favourite orange flowers - marigolds. These flowers have a beautiful texture and depth of colours, bringing a wealth of gold, copper, and brass into summer and autumn gardens. The colour palette is earthy and warm with ochras, olive green, sepia, tangerine and lime green. The first layer is created with alcohol inks on synthetic paper called yupo, that is then mounted onto round, cradled wood panel. The second layer consists of subtle hand drawn line art, created with posca pens.
