Original artwork inspired by the beauty of a woman and a tropical male parrot from eclectus species. This piece is the first one of a few series of tropical portraits, featuring females from different parts of the world with exotic birds. I wanted to create an elegant painting of a female at night, however it needed a much additional pop of colour. Parrot's  emerald green plumage combined with bright coloured beak was a perfect addition to a lady dressed up to go out. The detail on her top is also inspired by the Indian paisley patterns and works well with the colour palette of the whole piece.
