Artwork Description

Ink on A3 220 GSM high quality paper.

This piece is the most detailed to date , Safe to say I love creating these pieces as this is the 6th black on white version,
This piece took countless hours to create over many layers.

Image of a bearded man , reference picture is from a broken statue .
This is a much more detailed piece taken from the same image as my recently sold continuous line drawing “Broken”
I loved drawing the continuous line drawing and really enjoyed the challenge of doing a much more detailed version.

Artist Bio

Thank you for taking the time to read my profile page.
I’d like to take a moment to describe my core style ,technique which is continuous line drawing .

CONTINUOUS LINE DRAWING. The line in a continuous line drawing is unbroken from the beginning to the end. The drawing implement stays in uninterruped contact with the surface of the paper during the entire length of the drawing.

This technique helps to create imperfect but interesting one off original minimal pieces of work .

Although I studied art and design in the last few years of secondary school, I am primarily self taught artist and was obsessed with drawing and art as a young boy.
Encouraged by my family I would draw for hours. My first art exhibition was a Commonwealth Bank coloring competition at aged 8.
The bank provided an image of a man riding an elephant carrying a CBA flag to color but I decided to freehand draw a larger scale image and color it in.
This featured in the local paper after winning a $10 prize in a new account . ( Don't forget the Plastic elephant money box!)

Many jobs come and go and Children are born, other things take over in my life but the Art somehow returns like a long lost friend.
The current works I am producing are the result of everything Ive seen and learnt in life, until recently I hadn't drawn or painted anything for about 10 years.
The feedback and feeling I have received from starting this next phase has been most enjoyable and unexpected.
I thank you all for looking at my work and supporting the amazing artists here on Bluethumb.
