MATERIALS USED

Acrylic mount on metallic photographic paper - Ready to hang on the wall with the aluminium backing frame.

DESCRIPTION

'Thalassophile', the series, plays homage to the ocean and it's adjoining channels, creeks and rivers, via abstract aerial photography.

This particular image captures the man made filtration lakes on the Western side of Melbourne that naturally filter the toxins, salt and sewage before it reaches the ocean. The different levels of salt and presence of algae create the vast array of vibrant colours that can be seen from the air.
