This is a view from my front yard at home. One evening I noticed how bleak the view would be were it not for this towering gum tree shooting up above the tile and tin roofs of my neighbours homes. It made me consider how valuable trees and plants are to our suburban landscape.

This etching is an E.V (edition variable) of a colour print featured in the group exhibition 'Haven' at Gallery M in 2021.
