This richly coloured and detailed painting showcases the shy but beautiful Shining Bronze Cuckoo, a bird native to the Western Australian region where I live. The Geraldton Wax flower is also a prevalent plant that thrives in the area.

This piece is created with professional watercolour paints on warm, textured, thick cotton watercolour paper and is provided framed in a simple, stock 2-tone, wood-look frame with a glass front. Supplied with a cord and 2 d-rings for hanging.
