Artwork Description

This artwork was a feature in my studio for the last week so I decided I had to share his cuteness with a few more people. Originally a mixed media artwork.

Artist Bio

As an environmental Artist for more than 20 years, I love painting nature, landscapes and flowers and birds Currently I am donating 10% of all sales to Refugees via UNHCR. As an artist I like to support charities through my Art Sales.

My latest work is exploring nature through a new type of mixed media. The Encaustic medium is a wonderful way to add depth and luster to any artwork. To date I have been exploring the sea and the sky as my main inspiration and Twilight.
The works can be gently buffed with a soft rag for extra shine, but they are very resilient and strong.
Jasper Johns brought them back to popularity in Artworks in the 1950's. Our most famous Artist, Jenny Sages from King Street Gallery, now in her 80's is famous for her encaustic artwork. It has now become more popular in Australia.
